CODE MIXING IN SOUTH JAKARTA LANGUAGE STYLE USED IN ENGLISH LEARNING
ABSTRAK
The aims of this research to examine the use of South Jakarta language style in learning English. A qualitative case study approach used in this study to explain students' experiences regarding the application of codemixing or mixing language to use South Jakarta language when learning English and used to communicate. This study discusses the types and factors of code mixing. This thesis aims to analyze the types of code mixing used by students in English classes at Vocational High School 01 Pemalang, Central Java. It classifies code-mixed speech into three types: insertion, alternation, and congruent lexicalization Musyken (2000). Besides that to analyzes the reasons that encourage students to code-mix their conversations in class discussions in two languages, Indonesian and English.. The data collected through observation and interview.
