ABSTRAK

During the pandemic situation, Blended (hybrid) learning is one of the learning methods that  has been implemented in the students’ learning process via technologies in educational settings. The objective of this research is to find out the the implementation of  Blended Learning Method based on the perceptions of pre-service teachers, how they use blended learning, challenges, and strategies of using this method at the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Pekalongan. Four pre-service teachers participates in this study. Data collected by interview with the pre-service teachers. The results show that Blended Learning is a new thing for pre-service teachers and they have faced several problems. When blended learning was applied, the student tend to be lazy and undisciplined. Strategies they used to solve this problem is review material and ask the students to collect their assignment during offline meeting.
